About the Author

Alan P. Marks is a writer/educator based in Central Maine. His focus is primarily on horror, but he also dabbles in more mainstream/literary fiction, and his works have been published in places ranging from Sunspot Literary Journal, to anthologies from Eerie River Publishing, New England Horror Writers, Graveside Press, and more.

Since receiving his Masters in Creative Writing from the University of Maine (longer ago than he likes to admit), Alan has been on faculty there, teaching writing and literature, including courses on vampires, monsters, and Stephen King to name a few.

More recently, he received his MFA in Creative Writing from the Stonecoast program at the University of Southern Maine.

He’s still working on that elusive first novel.
